sometimes the experience of just remembering something is enough to constitute a days activity. this painting is about that. as i get older i am able recall things and feelings with less clarity regarding specifics, yet somehow the overall impressions of times past are stronger. i am not sure how this happens. but i do appreciate it.

It's true. My long term memories are lasting and stronger and I can't seem to remember what I did yesterday. This painting is just exquisite, Laura. Bravo.

I love this painting, Laura. The floating/free-falling figure is especially wonderful, and I love the structural element.

hi holly and gloria, thanks for visiting and for your encouragement. as i become more firmly planted in middle age, i like, as tom waits said, what time does to things, including memories. it makes for a lot of rich experiences to draw on. no pun intended!
