drawing from life

i have been drawing little things around the house to keep my hands nimble until the next round of ideas come. it is harder for me to draw things because i tend to judge my efforts much more harshly. but, still, i find a lot of value in doing this kind of work. the exercises take on a spiritual aspect as i increasingly learn to accept and explore within the simple and direct boundaries.
